National Park Week is almost here! We look forward to celebrating with you from April 17 to April 25. Our national parks are a source of comfort and strength; they are also a place to learn and explore. And it’s time to celebrate together.
One reason to celebrate is that our generous Board of Directors will match any and every donation made to the National Park Foundation, dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $100,000 through April 30!
You can join your fellow park lovers on social media in our We Heart the Parks Facebook group and share your National Park Week stories and photos by using our hashtag #NationalParkWeek and/or give to support the national parks and programs you love. This is a time to learn about amazing places, discover stories of history and culture, and create new memories and reminisce on old ones.
Throughout the week, various special programs and events will be held to highlight the different ways you can enjoy our national parks. We hope you will participate in one or more of the following with us:
